My name is Gabe Espinosa. I graduated cum laude with a B.A. from the University of California-Santa Cruz in June of 2009 in Latin American and Latino Studies and have a JD from UC Hastings College of Law in San Francisco.
Experience
Recent law school grad (UC Hastings) with over 7 years of experience tutoring students of various ages and walks of life in general writing and in Spanish. When I was still in high school, I was a volunteer tutor/mentor for elementary school students in the Healdsburg Unified School District. For one year while I was an undergraduate, I worked with students in San Mateo. While the majority of my tutoring experience has been with elementary and middle school students, I also had the opportunity to work as a writing tutor for an upper division Latin American Studies course at University of California- Santa Cruz and recently as a private Spanish tutor for an doctor. I provided students with feedback on the grammar and content of their essays. This was part of a two-unit writing lab. I am more than happy and qualified to assist in essay writing in both English and Spanish, general Spanish tutoring, as well as general English tutoring for those who do not yet have a mastery of the English language. I will only work for a minimum of two hours per session. I have references and an updated resume upon request.
